    USB harddrive issuess


    I have several USB harddrives. I can see them fine, look at data etc.
    But if I move data, or lauch a program, after that I can't move or execute data again. Windows say thet the item I am accessing is no longer their, tyr again? I have to log out, or reboot to see or access again. I have read alot of TDI.sys issues. I load the nforce drivers for my motherbaord and that didn;t help either.

    Which Nforce drivers have you installed?

    I see this in Asus as the latest vista driver for your motherboard:
    http://dlsvr.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/...24_XPVista.zip

    But if Windows Update finds a driver update , I suggest you use that one from Windows Update instead.

    Also, I would suggest a BIOS update if you don't have the latest.

This has probably been asked before. I presently have a mother board with Sata Drive connectors. Is there anyway to use an SSD hard drive with this mother board?

Well.. my laptop did this thing where it would go really slow..then crash.. I took it to Star-Tech in the mall..and they looked at it and said it was a bad hard-drive sector or something like that?
