Windows 7: What wireless adapter?

23 Dec 2009   #1

What wireless adapter?

My friend owns an Acer gaming laptop, not sure what model with Windows 7 64bit installed. Anyway, I just need to know what wireless adapter works perfect with a Windows 7 64bit laptop.

I didn't know where to put this question so thought here would be fine.
I'm new btw.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

As a computer technician, I've had the best positive feedback with the Linksys Wireless N adapter

Linksys by Cisco Wireless-N USB Network Adapter WUSB300N

Or the Linksys Wireless G RangePlus Adapter

Linksys by Cisco RangePlus Wireless Network USB Adapter WUSB100

My 2 cents. I own all Linksys products and I trust Cisco to make good products. They are both Windows 7 x64 Compatible.

Setup is simple. JUST PLUG IT INTO THE COMPUTER. Windows Update will download the drivers for it automatically.

Good Luck!
