DVD and CD drives not showing ...

Just recently up-graded to Windows 7 Home Premium and everything has worked fine until yesterday ...

I tried to install a few of my games and nothing would install ... I could put the CD in the drive but nothing would happen ... prior to that I had installed Rise Of Flight and FSX with no problems

SOOO ... I checked in COMPUTER and low and behold none of my drives are showin' up ... the only ones that do show are the HARD DISK and the FLOPPY

My ultimate question is ... what has happened and how do I fix it ?

    Thanks

    O.K. ...

I looked in DEVICE MANAGEMENT and both drives have the yellow yeild sign over them ... when I open one to check it out I am getting this message : This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Not sure what that means or how to fix it ... hope someone here can help me

    Thanks again

    try:
go to device manager, right click the drives and uninstall them from your system, then reboot.

I have tried that and nothing works ...

I can't re-install the drivers from the CDs and when I run the up-date drivers it tells me I have the most up to date drivers all ready ...

What the hell am I to do now ... I can't install ANY f'n thing

I should have stayed with XP PRO ...
