    The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resour


    can windows 7 not handle dual monitors? In my event logs since i added my second monitor I been getting this msg constantly and its only when i been idle...

    The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention.
    Scenario : The Desktop Window Manager responsiveness has degraded.


    only problems im having is my computer freezing when browsing only! not gaming or anything else. But the freezing was a problem before i added a second monitor. I notice when i come out of screen saver mode that the windows slide a bit choppy when i move them from one side of the screen to the other... then after a bit it smooths out a little.

So just recently my Aero effects have stopped working, I can't change the transparency or window color, and my dwm is not even running or listed in the services as you can see in the picture. http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/8803/dwmgone.jpg I've tried running the aero trouble shooter...
