    Can't delete printer tcpip port.

    Win Ultimate 64 bit
My printer quit working so I deleted it.

When I try to create new local tcpip printer port, I get message "port already exists"

I know how to delete port in Vista.

    Hi there
just use it again -- you can edit it if you want to change the IP address etc -- you don't have to create a NEW port if one already exists that you can use.

I did learn something new. I found where I can do that.
    Thanks

Now it says "printer off line". I had this problem in Vista if I turned on the computer before the printer.

In win 7, nothing works. In user mode it's grayed out. In admin mode, I can not remove the check mark. Help is of no value.
