Specs look good on monitor: Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP-HC | Dell

Can you try it again on the Mac?

When you unhooked the 2005, did you connect the 2407 to the very same output? Do you have two DVIs? Try using the monitor cable on the 2005 for the 2407.

I tried both, and also i tried a dual link dvi cable, still no picture, it was working for one moment, then after the reboot and after i popped in the 2005, the 2407 died. F#$@! is this just shit luck.

Sorry, but it does sound bad. Go hunt the guy down and get your money back.
