    Webcam doesn't turn off

Hi there. I'm not sure if this belongs here or not, so my apologies if it's not. My problem is that I recently got a webcam from eBay. It's just those basic ones that come from China and stuff. It works pretty well but I don't think it turns off..

It has a microphone within it and if I touch it, it's like I'm touching a microphone that's currently on. So I know at least the microphone is still on..
I feel like the video could still be on too. There are lights on it but they don't turn on when the video is active. Instead, they're just there for show, it seems. I can turn the lights on and off via a little switch attached the the cord.

Here's a link to the cam itself:

    Anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

Test it on Aim or Yahoo Messenger to see if it turns off. Or plug it out.

Well, I use it for Skype. And when I end the video call, of course the video is going to go away too. But the cam doesn't switch off - or at least the microphone doesn't, that much I know for sure. So the cam could still be on too, for all I know.
