    Is this processor good?

    I was just wondering if AMD Turion™ II Dual-Core Mobile Processor M520 (2.3GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 3.6GT/s) was a good prrocessor.

Since it says that it is a mobile processor, I assume that is for a laptop. I have never used a Turion, but I have seen a lot of laptops with it, and the specs aren't bad, so I would guess that it is as good as any...unless you decide to go the Intel route. But, since I don't have recent experience with Intel, I don't know what their laptop processors are like.

For games, never. For multitasking its passable - the lack of cache is still a factor.

I am using a Core 2 Duo T6600 so I cant talk....but NO that's not a very good processor. Even my T6600 has twice the cache.

Thanks guys. I was just checking it out. I really have no interest in buying it. I hope the next computer I buy will be a customizable desktop, but I might want a laptop as well so maybe I will be interested in a few years.

In a few years, that computer will be so obsolete that it will be irrelevant to any decision that you would make then.

That is very true. I was just customizing a laptop and it's a shame because for what I paid for mine, now I could get a way better computer for less. That goes with all technology though. You buy top of the line equipment, and by the next year it is crap. Gotta love it!
