I do have one device after i connect it to the USB port, a reboot is required to get it going... GL :)
lol .......this is not a solution
The devise I need to reboot on is a seagate USB 2tb HD... Going to there site I found it seemed rather common with a few of there drives... Possible I can plug it into the wall and leave it till it goes into sleep mode then boot my computer... Will try that soon enough... GL :)

It is possible there is something corrupted with the OS.
Have you tried running sfc /scannow? This may not fix anything, but worth a try.

If numerous devices are giving similar errors on one system but are fine on another,, then it is one of these things....

    Corrupted OS

    Corrupted/Bad Drivers

    Bad Motherboard

    Other Bad Hardware

This is not a Win 7 problem, to the best of my knowledge.

EDIT: Yes, as you are having problems,, it could be worth upgrading to the latest BIOS.
    Also, the latest Chipset Drivers

It might even be worth trying the following,,, uninstall all drivers through Uninstall Programs and then reinstall them. I am not saying this will not make things worse or break something else. but it might help,,, maybe.

You can try these Chipset Drivers from Intel (9.1.1.1025)
hello ./...how can i find the version of chipset that i have ..?I dodnt have any issue with the xp .Ihave windows 7 64 bit ultimate in 2 machines with a same problem
