Windows 7 and a NAS

I bought a NAS ( an intel ss4200e ) and I'm trying to get it working on my windows 7. Basically, I want to use it as a backup server. How do I make windows 7 recognize it as another hard drive? how do I format it and set it up as raid 0? Thank you.

Which version of Windows 7 do you run? I believe that only Professional/Enterprise and Ultimate have the ability to back up to a network drive/location. You would most likely have to use another program, or attach the NAS via USB or eSata to backup to it.

Are there included drivers that came with the NAS? If so, those would need to be installed first.
