    mouse would work. i had to reboot both usb

    i was dragging pictures to folders when it happened weird

    I think that you may have learned something very valuable. First thing to try after a problem is a reboot. Windows corrects many small problems during the reboot process. That is one reason I shut down over night about once a week.
