Error message during conversion from Fat32 to NTFS

I have 1TB Seagate External HDD Extreme but didnt succesfully converted because of these Errors during conversion:
"Windows found errors on the disk, but will not fix them because disk checking was run without the /F <fix> parameter."
"Lost chain cross-linked at cluster 2306188. Orphan truncated."
"Convert lost chain to files <y/n>?" On this i select "Yes"
"32 KB in 1 recoverable files."
"Windows found problems with the file system"
"Run CHKDSK with the /F <fix> option to correct these."
    ------------------- KB total disk space
    ----------- KB in ----hidden files
    ----------- KB in ----folders
    ------------------- KB in -----files
    ------------------- KB are available

---------- bytes in each allocation unit
------------------- total allocation units on disk
-------------------- alllocation units available on disk
"The volume may have inconsistencies. Run Chkdsk, the disk checking utility."
    "The conversion failed."
"F: was not converted to NFTS"

So i ran "Chkdsk /F" on F drive but still didnt fix the problem.
I dont know what to do. Please help.

Download Seagate Seatools and have it fix the errors. From memory, it should fix Maxtor and most likely external Seagate drives.

Take ownership of the disk, recheck.
