    Hi Kranika,

Depeds on exactly what you are trying to do ...

If you have 2 empty partitions (no data at all) that you wish to combine the easiest way would be to delete both partitions and create a new partition with the space created.

If however the two partitions are not next to each other you cannot do this without third party software.

I personally use Paragon Hard Disk manager but other free options such as Gparted (GNU Linux based Bootable CD) are easily available.

If you wish to combine to empty hard disks to work as a single drive then you will need to look at RAID either Software (MS Dynamic Disk) Not recommended or hardware

    hope this helps

    Hi kranika,

Have not used partition magic since Norton's takeover of Powerquest so cannot comment directly, but used the original Partition magic for years with no problems.

Only advice I would give is to ensure that any vital personal data,(documents, Photos, etc.), on the drive is backed up before you start - Partition managers are safe but with any operation that moves data you have the chance, however small, of causing data loss.

Also as you are possibly moving at least one OS partition I would make sure you have the install DVD / CD for vista and Seven to hand just in case they get confused after being moved.

I'm sure everything will go fine just read through the help / Manual for Partition Magic before you start so that you know what to expect. It may be worth printing the relevant parts of the manual to refer to whilst working

    Hope this helps

I think you might be able to Ghost the whole drive on to a larger drive, I think that's what my cousin did when he had a bad drive. It had a few settings messed up and I think he may of had to activate again but all his programs were still installed and working.

if you are talking about the installation files such if you have the setup.exe or an iso then yeah that is good

however if you are talking about the files already installed then the short anwser is no
you can try make all the registry values go to there but its a real hassle....
what you can do is unnistall it but before that just in case backup your user data...
(you know when you enter COD you click on a profile...
while i forgot where that was....
a quick check in the COD 5 folder (if its installed) or the users folder and search for your profile name...
then when you installed it drop it in the place where it was
(COD 4 and the COD 5 Beta i know are like this)
    well OT
    how is it??
    tried multiplayer??
is the same from the COD5 beta???
