Intel's i7 Windows 7 and everything else between

Since Intel has released the Intel i7 processors and extreme editions now to the market, and a very limited manufactures, such as ASUS, and EVGA, are creating compatible socket 1366 motherboards...I wonder how this is gonna run with Windows 7 once it's released to the general public as a final release?

    This should be interesting....
I mean I want to upgrade within 2 months, but I'm torn between going with EVGA's 790i SLi or EVGA X58....(your input please...):)
