    1 laptopscreen, 1 monitor GeForce GT 240m 1 GB

    Hello

I have a laptop, as you can see in my system specs. I want to use my old pc screen to use it with my laptop. The only result I had was the same desktop on the 2 screens. But not on my laptop screen the left part of my desktop and on the right screen the other part.

My laptop screen is 18,4" HD+ LCD
My old pc screen is a 17" Benq FP783

I've read that it is impossible to "dual-screen" with a laptop, but I think it is possible with the right software (or hardware, but in that case I will not proceed to attempt dual-screening, just want to test it for fun).

    Thanks in advance

This should be possible. I have the 260m and I go to the Nvidia control panel and set up dual screens. dont do the clone screen do extend this should put the taskbar on one screen and the other screen has desktop space where you can drag programs to.

The desktop screen on the right is upside down while my laptop screen is just fine, when I select "Flipped", both screens are upside down.

EDIT: I got it fixed, thanks for your help, I forgot 1 stupid setting.

Is there any possibility to let the taskbar be extended to my second monitor? It's not really necessary but would come in handy.
