keyboard windows 7 and xp

    keyboard windows 7 and xp


    i have loaded windows 7 and xp, when my pc boots up it gives me the option for windows 7 or xp, whic is fine, i have wireless optical key bord which dont seem to work to select the option, as the countdown beguns and the windows7 is loaded the keyboard works fine, i have no problem with a wire key board, any suggestions on how i can get my optical wireless keyboard to work.

    Hello Sal,

    Double check in your BIOS settings to make sure that you have a option like "USB keyboard Support" enabled. This is usually in the "Integrated Peripherals" area, but may differ from motherboard to motherboard though.

    Also make sure that the wireless reciever is plugged into a USB port on the back of the computer. Sometimes it will need to be plugged into the first USB port on the back instead of just anyone of them.
