    Someday I'm going to learn. Seems every time that I mark a thread solved, another question pops into my or sticks up it's head later.

    I decided to run a test on the drive with HD Tune, and for the most part it seems okay, but I can't remember and haven't taken the time to check the published specs yet, but the access time seems slow, but more importantly there is no data given for the buffer (32 mb). Considering that HD Tune failed to display anything on the Health tab, this may just be a software fluke, but I wanted to post the screenshots anyway:

    I didn't mean to indicate all of them was black. They are all flavors. Two of them are Raptors (10000rpm).
