Printer HP Laserjet 2100TN can used on window7 64 ?

    Hi everybody,

I have one Laserjet 2100TN at home connected to my download server on XP SP3 by port PCL6 . And this printer is shared to 4 others PCs which are on vista x64, windows 7 x32 ...

My Pc now is on windows 7 x64, windows can see the 2100TN on network but unable to connect to him, windows says no driver found .

Strange because others PCs on vista x64 and win 7 x32 on network can use this 2100TN normally.

I have download driver for win 7 x64 on the site of HP, but no help .

Have anyone any idea for this problem ?
    please help me.

Connect the printer to the w7 pc, and install the w7 drivers, OR as install instructions, then it will have the drivers - put it back on the other machine.

    Thank you for reply,

your solution is seem to be great, i guess i could try it , but impossible from here , my new mother broad doesn't have a PCL6 port to connect the printer. i also have one PCI card for PCL6, but the fan of my video card do take this place. so cant use the PCI slot to connect PCI > PCL6.

That why i must use the printer through my download server.
