    VESA Ceiling Mount

i want to mount a HDTV that I just ordered, but it would be far easier to use a ceiling mount, rather than a wall mount, because I intend to locate the antenna in the attic over the TV. I have not been able to determine is is whether the vertical support is hollow and whether it would accept a coaxial cable or not? Anyone have one of these?

Thanks, but the first two were definitely the wrong price, the second was right retailer, right mount, wrong price. I have found ceiling mounts for as little as $24,99:

Budget Mounts | LCD Wall Mounts | Projector ceiling mount | TV Brackets for Plasma

But it doesn't say anything about cable management, so I must assume that it is a solid rod. Still it gives me something to go on. It escapes me how something so simple can be so expensive? I may end up having to buy a roll of friction tape to route the cable with.

    Those 3 have hollow rods...
I have dealt with quite a few suppliers of "TV brackets" and 95% of the time they use hollow rods to
    a) keep the weight down and
    b) for cable management

Also I have heard that when a solid rod version has been supplied it is relatively easy to substitute/adapt a hollow rod which is pretty cheap and easily available from your local hardware
