On my new Asus laptop the Blue Ray drive is in a bad location and everytime I go to adjust it on my lap, I always end up opening the drive, so I'm wondering if there may be a program that will allow me to lock it. Does anyone know of something like this? I've searched Google till I was blue in the face and haven't come up with anything. Any help with this is appreciated.

On some laptops you can Eject the CD-drive itself (as to replace it with any other device that'd fit in the slot)... I think the drive will still respond to the physical button, but it's worth a try perhaps?
If anyone else knows of an effective way to lock the CD-rom drive, please share! ^^
thanks for your help, but i've got it resolved. I found a program called CD/DVD Locker, its freeware, so if anyone else needs this, send me a PM and I will send you the link.
