How do I make windows 7 compatible with my HD photosmar

Our home computer uses XP and works fine with our HP photosmart c4780 printer. I bought my daughter a HP Pavilion lap top with windows 7. The printer software doesn't seem to be compatible. How can I get both windows 7 and xp to work on the same wireless printer?

HP has Win7 drivers for the c4780.

These are for the 32 bit version of Win7, but the links for the X64 files appear to point to the same installers.

You have your choice of basic drivers or full featured ones, 44MB and 131MB downloads respectively.
