    What brand is your HHD? Here is WD page identify your model and run test. Try run "zeroes" test if it helps.

    Have you tried replacing the SATA cable(s)? I was just reminded of that in another Thread in which the OP changed the cable and it fixed the problem.

    Well, I got it sorted out. Turns out when I formatted, I didn't think about the system partition windows setup creates. I deleted all partitions and it posted fine. I'm not sure what caused the system partition to prevent the hard drive from booting on this computer but work fine on all others, and I'm also not sure what caused it to screw up in the first installation. I'm not going to argue. Windows is installed now and working fine. Thanks everyone for your help!
