    Well, what the actual BOOBAH!

    1. Thank you for this fix. It worked.
    2. How in the blue-eyed world did you stumble upon this arcane, hidden, unintuitive (until after the fact) setting?
    3. Up until a day or so ago, my KB volume control worked fine. I didn't change anything and it just spontaneously quit. Any idea why? How can a service not only be turned off without human intervention or knowledge, but set to manual?
    4. Did I remember to thank you for this fix?
    5. Sorry for Necroing the thread but I'm blown away by how arcane this setting is and just had to thank Booyah for finding it.
    6. Oh, and thanks to SevenForums for not archiving this or deleting it just because it's 8 years old. Bravo. Erm, I mean, BOOBAH!
