USB 3.0 vs 2.0

    I have both USB 3.0 and Sata 3.0

    cant benchmark since i dont have the devices for it

    I just installed an ASUS U3S6 PCIe x4 card with two internal SATA III and two external USB 3. Have not tested performance as I just got it to get my SATA II SSD off my motherboard; they did not cooperate well. This card is quite inexpensive.

    It is running but I have no USB 3 or SATA III devices to test. Works nicely for my SSD though (SATA II of course), and was easy to install.

    Just ordered this WD 1TB USB 3.0 :) The supplier ran CrystalDisk to test
    Attached Thumbnails Attached Thumbnails USB 3.0 vs 2.0-wd_usb3.jpg   USB 3.0 vs 2.0-wd_usb3_test.jpg

    I suggest AS SSD Benchmark for your SSD (It's better for SSDs than HD Tune IMO)

    Is that compatible when connected to a USB 2.0 port ???
    or can it plug into a USB 2.0 ???
