    yeah butit doesnt support triple channel ddr3 is your ddr3 dual channel or triple?

    Dual channel, is it true that it should post with no memory installed? as in reach boot screen but display error message? im literally getting nothing

    Have you double checked your BIOS settings to make sure they are correct for the CPU and memory etc......

    can you hear the pc actually power up not just see the fans spinning and assume its on?

    Ok then, what have you recently fitted and have you checked the pins/connections.
    After that the PSU or motherboard are the other possibilities. :)

    on this pc i built here i went a little to fast putting it together and only plugged in the 24 pin and everything looked like it was running but no screen would come up like you said then i went back double checked everything and noticed i forgot to plug inthe 8 pin connector which is 4 on yours

    sent the board back to ebuyer they confirmed it was faulty and gave me a refund, Then ordered a ASROCK M3A790GXH 128M 790GX AM3 DDR3. Built the pc today and all works perfect very happy with it it flies haven't had time to play games will test that later but glad that its all sorted now lol

    all you have to do is update the bios is does not support the am3 without the update

    Yes only you do is update BIOS then it will work fine - when I upgraded from Gigabyte M59SLI-S5 to ASUS M4N82 Deluxe with Ph II X4 965BE then boot up prefect with early version in BIOS then I download and then flash via Windows BIOS (ASUS update) then reboot and it prefect running - dont seen any problems. I put one stick of DDR2-800 first then put 3 stick to 8GB then run so fast - happy with my board and CPU.
