    T200HD Monitor

    I recently read a MS article on 2 monitors & the benifit of them.

    I purchased a Samsung Syncmaster model No. T200HD Monitor.

    It has inputs for ANT-IN, PC, SCART, Componant, DVI-D & HDMI.

    With the remote control provided, I can switch between use as 2nd monitor, cable TV, 2nd computer monitor or CCTV security camera.

    The source list by pressing "source" on the remote is as follows;

    TV, EXT., DVI, Component, HDMI1 & HDMI2

    I think it is the greatest monitor ever!!

    Wouldn't be my cup of tea (Not enough static contrast, not enough resolution, too shiny, too many bells and whistles, too expensive) but it looks like a good monitor/tv for those people who want a multi-purpose device.

    Interesting marketing ploy...

    Is it a TV set with computer inputs or is it a computer monitor with a TV tuner in it?

    But I do have to agree... it's somewhat overpriced. I can get ASUS 24" 1080p monitors for a fair bit less.

    I have the T220HD and it is a Computer Monitor with TV turner. I use it on my home desktop and when traveling with my Travel Trailer it serves as our TV. Works for me.

    I'd rather use my AcerX223Wbd. It's got 1680x1050 just like that monitor, 2 inches more of screenage, a 2500:1 static contrast ratio and it's priced at anywhere from $150 - 170

    Granted it's only DVI/VGA but I'd rather have a real computer monitor that can display games properly and use a real tv that can display cable properly.

    I have both with a second monitor or a TV screen.
