90°C safe temp?
Is that temp safe to have in a laptop? I was watching a 1080p video, and i noticed my temp started to get waaay high. Any way I can keep it low wen watching HD videos?

Hi, it is a bit.
How about cooler pads for laptops. google will get you one, + $.
At the risk of feeling foolish, i was referring to something like this.
Check and clean you fans. When in your lap are you blocking the vents. Some laptops vent out the bottom and need some space for air movement.

I'm fairly certain, 90C is a temp you want to not go near. My guess is when its on your lap your lap is blocking vents on the bottom of the laptop. Get a USB powered laptop cooler (as suggested above) which will be put in between your lap and your laptop to keep it much cooler.
At least it is multipurpose - you can also fry eggs on it. But seriously, 90C is definitely too high. It sounds like an HP. They often vent to the bottom. A chillpad can bring the temp down - maybe 5 - 10C. I have to use one on one of my laptops. It works well. I now also switch the disk and put an SSD into it. The HDD is another source of heat.
If you read my specs WHS, you would see its a Toshiba, but i do see slits on the bottom in various places, like i the ram cover.
And I do have a pad. It is plastic on one side, and a cusion on the other. will that help?
You need to evacuate the hot air. You pad will probably not help. This is what you need: chill pad - BestBuy
