Thinking of buying this

Why buy a 2.8Ghz rated system then overclock it to 4Ghz? I've never been a fan of overclocking though I know many are and do. Why not go for one rated at 3.4Ghz and not overclock?

    Just curious.

Because of the price of the processor I had a budget of £1500 altogether and with the 120 GB £300 SSD I added and the extra 2 TB Western Digital Green that was the best I could come up with.

Okay, thanks for the response. It is a heck of a nice computer. I think you received one other offer but if for any reason your dissatisfied with it, please feel free to send me a PM and we can make arrangements to send it here

Congratulations.. yes, I'm a little green here myself... envy you know.

    Does it come overclocked?
I'll look at your original link but what kind of cooling system is installed?

Native powered music production is now a reality... systems like this are more powerful than the Protools hardware rigs that started at 10K.

p.s. hopefully you won't have to be looking for Realtek drivers again!

Yes it came overclocked @ 4.0Ghz
Cooling is in the specs for you to see. I am sat at it now in t-shirt and shorts and it feels like an Air-Con unit if front of me.

I can honestly say it is the best PC I have ever had.
It is so fast that my Internet can't keep up with it, where as before I had to wait for the Browser now I am waiting for the internet ha ha.

As for the sound hand on heart I have not had a single problem, where as before on my old rig I had tremendous problems with stuttering, jitters and crackling, no matter what I throw at this beast it takes it all in it's stride and sound ids perfect always.

All in all well worth the money and would highly recommend it to anybody thinking of buying a new rig.

Very decent sounding system with great components. But you may want to add this if you work with audio....

I do actually do a lot of Audio work with Steinberg and especially Wave Lab but I have not had the chance to try any of that out yet, and to be honest I am all spent out now, music will have to wait until Christmas
