Safely Remove Hardware icon on taskbar

Does anyone know the registry key to set Windows Explorer Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media on (Show icon and notifications) ? That way whenever someone plugs in a USB device the icon will show in the task bar until is ejected and not just the simple notification. I Know how to turn on/off the icons for the Action Center, Volume, Network, Power and others but I have not figured out how to do the USB icon. I would appreciate any help.

Stick in a USB, then click the little arrow that shows the hidden icons. Drag the hidden icon you want displayed onto the system tray. It should keep showing it from then on.

I got tired of doing that and went the other way. I enabled all icons and notifications in the tray, then turned off the annoying system ones.

    Control Panel
in the search box (far right ) enter, Notification Area Icons
    Enter key
choose Show or hide notification area on the taskbar
checkmark Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar
    OK button

Dell Win 7 - I cannot get the safely remove hardware icon to appear when loading an SD card. Subsequently inserting a USB flash drive does prompt it and show both drives, but this seems way too much to ask. Any thoughts on how to get the icon to appear when loading an SD?
