    Display Driver Problem.

I have a Sony Vaio (VGN-AR830E/Laptop (64-bit)) (SpecsVGN-AR830E | VAIO® AR Series Notebook PC | Sony | SonyStyle USA)) that is supplied with Windows Vista Home Ed. 64 bit. I recently decided to Upgrade to Windows 7, after buying 7 I decided to format my Laptop at the same time hence clearing my hard drive. after Windows 7 installation was complete all my drivers were gone, i then went to the Sony Vaio website to download my drivers, (Sony eSupport - VGN-AR830E - Software Updates & Drivers) it was a shame that the drivers were only for Vista, not 7, i'm okay with the lost of the majority of the drivers but i cant live without my display driver. my graphics card is a Nvidia 8400m GT for this sony Vaio. i then went to Nvidia website to download the display drivers but was unsuccessful in the installation, can someone please help me in trying to fix my problem, or at the very least directing me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, this is my first post, if any other information is needed to help me feel free to post it on this thread, i will then try to add that information. Thanks in advance !! any help would be appreciated. Another question, what is a Poll? i was asked would u like polls on this thread, can anyone explain that to me thanks agaoin Thank you all for trying to help me. i was finally able to fix the problem. neo101 was the one i followed thanks a lot. is there any way i can delete this question? should i, or would it help others who have similar problems like mine?

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

You will get more help if you list your system specs in your User CP, or in a post.
This will save time for the person that is trying to help you. They won't have to go to Sony's sites to find them. There're usually different options for each model of computer, so if you could clarify, it will help.
