    Mouse issues

Went and got a Mouse today and I'm having some weird Issues with it.

It will randomly freeze up on me and then unfreeze and that whole process will continue. I used the PS2 plug that came with the mouse no freezing Issues but, the scroll wheel isn't functioning nor is the two back and forward buttons for net browsing. I also tried the normal usb port not usb 2.0 the mouse doesn't freeze but it suffers from horrible lag and slow motion.

I switched to my Ubuntu OS to write this, and the mouse has zero Issues at all.

I tried uninstalling the mouse driver, usb driver - let win reinstall them and still the same issues. Tried a reg cleaner, I'm at a loss as to what to do or try.

Win 7 - 2.5gigs Ram - Only other usb connection is my Keyboard - 450 Power supply -
    ATI 4650 - 512mb

    Hi there,

Please fill out your System Specs as completely as possible (including your mouse's make & model) so we can better assist you.

    Cheers,

Can we assume that you have latest drivers, that rodent performs "normally" in Safe Mode, that you defined your preferences via the rodent's config/setup options? Do you have more than one device attached, e.g., game pad, joy stick, etc? Did your "old" rodent have installed mouseware (that you uninstalled before installing new mouseware) or were you then (and now) running only Windows generic drivers?

That should do for starters - after you ID the name of the rodent.

If this computer was bought from a store.. then just provide us with the make and model of the computer and if you did any mods to the computer
let us know that as well.

we also need the make and model of the mouse
