How do I set drive IDs?

In XPpro, I could go to device manager, storage and see a list of my hard drives and DVD drives. It was easy to rename/relabel the drives. I do not see this option in Windows 7.

Not sure if attachment worked.

Thanks, but I don't see the option for "RENAME" I see this when I right click on a drive icon

For a DVD drive, you would need to use OPTION TWO in the tutorial link above to be able to rename it like the example below.
