removing screws with a round hole in them

    Hi everyone,

Need some help here. I got these screws on top of my computer near the powerbox and all around the insides of the casing, near the harddisks etc.

I dont know how to describe them. They look pretty short and have a round hole in the center of the head instead of a philips head or something.

I just need to know how to get these off my casing.

    Thanks guys :)

Can you post a picture of one of the heads? I suspect that they might be Torx screws.

Sorry, but I don't think that they are those. The secure version of those has a pin in the centre, and the torx driver has a hole in the tip to accomodate it. The more I think about it, given the locations mentioned, the more I think that these could even be rivets. However, let's wait and see what the picture reveals.

Those are just rivets, and you can usually remove them by drilling them out.

Rivets are usually drilled out. That's the only safe and clean way.
