What case do you have?
The more fans the better. I personally try to have positive air pressure in my chassis which means that I will have more intake than exhaust.
You might fill out your system specs which will give us a better idea for recommendations for you.
You want at least one intake and exhaust.
I always thought negative pressure was the best route.
Meaning you want slightly more exhaust than intake.
my case is oem but i switched psu added cpu and gpu. my psu has a nice 135mm fan intake so i think im gonna put a 120mm on outtake to push out any warm air that may build. im not having any heat issues but its always best to run cooler
Have to take it on a case to case basis. I have heard folks having best results with negative pressure, others positive pressure. My Lian Li case I have two 140s in front pulling, one 120 directly behind my Megahalems heat-sink with it's 120, pushing out back. Last two are 140s on top, pushing out and getting rid of any residue heat left in the case.
I might install a smaller side fan to supply cooler air to my GTX 470, still working on that aspect.
I think it depends on your case. best case scenerio (no pun intended) would be intake fans low on the front, and exhaust fan higher on the back/top. For your general discription, I'd say exhaust for sure. A Guy
yea i think exhaust seems the best thanks for the replys
