    Bluetooth problem

Hi all. A while back, I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 (cause Vista stinks). I'm using a Dell Studio 1535 Laptop, and everything works fine except the Bluetooth.

I am supposed to have a built-in adapter; there is even a Bluetooth light built into the keyboard, but it seems to have disappeared completely from my computer software-wise. I can't find anything even resembling Bluetooth in Device Manager or Control Panel.

I tried installing Windows Mobile Device Center, but that didn't do anything.

I'm guessing my adapter must be incompatible with 7, but I would really like to get it to work. Any suggestions?

    Welcome

Go to search, type services. Then in services, set BlueTooth to automatic. Tell me what happens

Dell does not provide any Windows 7 drivers for your laptop. That's probably a big part of your problem. I'd try installing all of the Vista drivers - download them from Dell and install them, especially the chipset and bluetooth drivers.

Forgot to say, I tried that already. Thats the only place on my computer anything actually says "Bluetooth". Still doesn't work though.

I installed the cipset drivers, but nothing.

When I tried to install the Bluetooth driver, a box poped up that said "Activate Bluetooth using Fn+F2 or Radio On/Off Switch." The only button the box had said "Cancel Installation". I tried Fn-F2 but nothing happened and I don't have a Radio On/Off Switch that I know of.
