    New RAM Purchase Help

Ok so I am in need of some new RAM, currently I have 2x2GB of DDR2 800MHz Corsair Gaming Memory totaling 4GB, but one of the RAM sticks is bad and doesn't work. And I don't want to spend $95 on a 2GB RAM stick. So I have $90 left that I had gotten on my birthday, and was wondering what is the best, highest amount of DDR2 RAM I could buy. I want a lot of DDR2 RAM, but not only do I want a lot but I want it to be good quality RAM that will last a long time, and has a fast speed like 800MHz or higher for $90 or less.

    Welcome,
Dont really have an answer to your question, but have some advice. If you are not going to replace all the ram at once, be careful with the purchase. Make sure that all the sticks are identical, especially the frequency. Many, who replace, ram, buy all that will be used at the same time.

    BTW a belated happy birthday.

Maximum amount of ram your board can take is 8gb of DDr2-800mhz.
    What country are you in?
We can't advise on price unless we know what country you are in.

You tried contacting Corsair about RMA'ing the memory?

Welcome to Corsair :: Tech Support Express

As far as I know they have a lifetime warranty on all their ram, or do now (depends on what was in effect at the time you bought yours).

I agree with stormy13, RAM typically has a lifetime warranty. Unless you were overclocking the RAM, you should be covered under warranty.
