Click devices and printers from the start menu.
Is there a yellow triangle showing up on any of the disks?
    If so >right click>troubleshoot

    Control panel>Hardware>Device Manager>Imaging Devices>Right Click>Update Software

    See if that works

    Dan

Look for an item with a yellow icon.

I have a similar problem with my Lebeca webcam having installed Windows 7 to my computer. It would appear that windows thinks its a Vimicro PC camera, which clearly it is not, and it doesn't work. Does anyone know whwere I can get a driver for this webcam or have I got to buy another camera. This is the third device thas I have that doesn't work in Windows 7. It's very frustrating!!

I have downloaded Driver Detective, Driver Mender & Driver Whiz but they all want a shed load of money without any guarantee that their drivers are going to work.

    Hi,

    THanks for your reply.

The webcam is a Panwest Lebeca Messenger.

    Lebeca Webcam

    Hi

Thanks for the info, and the webcam works great. I had forgotten about driverguide as it is some years since I used them last. I thought that MS would have solved all these problems with Windows 7 but I suppose that was wishful thinking.

    Thanks again
