    AMD64CAx64.sys

Hi.I have 430 entries in event viewer under CodeIntegrity describing errors dealing with AMD64.I'm not sure what exactly this is,but would love to get some feedback on the subject.Any insight as to what this may be and how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.I've searched and researched and all I am able to come up with is that this driver monitors temps and that it isn't digitally signed.I do have CPUID products running from startup to monitor temps, cpu, and ram usage. All appear to be working fine.

Whats the problem? I mean real problem, not an event in the event log.

What I'm saying is if your machine is running satisfactorily and theres no overt problem, physical or logical, that needs to be solved, why are you worried?

    You have this installed?

    AMD64 CPU Assistant

If so that is the problem as that program needs to have Windows run in test mode to function properly. I'd get rid of it and use something else that does the same thing (CPUID, HwInfo, Everest, etc), and doesn't require Windows to be in test mode to run properly.

Bill2,thank you for responding.I guess my concern is having errors on my PC.If it is commonplace to have a myriad of errors in event logs,so be it.If this is a mute discussion,...Well,there you have it.

No offence was meant, and neither should this discussion be mute. My viewpoint is unless the PC is actually troubling you in some way or there is a performance issue, why do you need to look into the event log?

But am sure, people more learned than me will be here to help, sooner or later. Good luck!

Start in Programs and Features, and if not there open Device Manager set to show hidden devices,

    Device Manager : Hidden Devices

and try uninstalling it from there. If that doesn't work or it isn't showing look next in both,

    C:\Windows\System32\drivers

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers

and remove them from there; may take booting to safe mode if they won't uninstall.

No offence taken.I'm new at computers-obviously.I am a very curious sort by nature.I just didn't know if I should be concerned.Should I not browse around in logs to get an understanding of what my machine is doing?

Found the problem driver in-C:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers.No new events logged.:)--I also found some drivers for Mcafee lurking about in hidden devices that I think were causing MSE problems.Uninstalled those and seemed to have rectified that issue as well.Very much appreciated.OPERATION ERADICATION-SUCCESS.
