Update motherboard drivers, and try sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt.

in the process of updating drivers - still in download stage.
I tried sfc /scannow and the keyboard didn't work after a restart and had to enter safemode. Dell doesn't have the a keyboard driver listed on there website. Could i just uninstall the driver and let it update. |

worked out what the issue is
I had stopped a couple of dell programs from auto running. This seem to stop the keyboard. I have turned them back on and the issue has gone |
