Hello there!
Can somebody help me to format my SDCARD (2GB) in to FAT16, I am running windows 7. Or is there a free software that can format an SDCARD into different formats that is compatible with windows7?

Welcome to Seven Forums, what exactly is the SD card to be used for? If this is for a camera, mp3 device or other piece of hardware most hardware devices can format the card and generally use FAT16. If the device is capable of being attached to your PC with USB then do this and go to Computer and right mouse click on the newly installed drive and a pick list will appear with format as a choice. When the format option appears it will show every possible way that drive can be formatted and the default will be FAT for media in a camera or media device.

Is it possible to have a Inspiron 3655 boot from sdcard?
It has a normal reader, but I'm having trouble getting it to boot from that. I need to run a utility on a iso, used rufus to formate the sdcard and everything. It isn't showing as a bootable option. I would just use a blank cd or dvd if I had one, but I don't atm. I've ordered a usb flash...

not able to make sdcard pendrive bootable
