Windows 7: EX HDD not recognized :(

Once you are able to retrieve files from the drive and those are all safe if you are able to reinialize the present volume on it you may want to remove the reformatted factory Fat to NTFS partition for a new NTFS one to start over in the event the partition table was messed up a little somehow.

Like I was saying before as far as the Dr.Freeware program that is more of a nightmare and can only be suggested as the absolute last option if nothing else works. With a 168gb recovered off of one system's drive the process of sifting through over 1,000 folders!

"there has to be a better way." is what anyone would end up saying for that one.

Ext hdd not recognized in 3.0 USB?
I have two external hdds (2.0). I thought they could be plugged into a 3.0 USB, but it wasn't recognized. I thought they were backward compatible. Just thought I could get faster speeds.

Ide hd not recognized
For some reason when i loaded windows 7 it will only recognize my SATA drive but not my IDE. Any one know why? or how to fix it. thanks
