Need some Advice!!!!
recently i re built this busted pc i had. the mother board i bought has a front side bus(hypertransport) that is 2600mhz
currently my pc with the 3ghz phenom II x4 mobo has a 1000mhz front side bus.
i bought a new hd to put in this pc i rebuilt its 500gb the same as my other pc.
now i just thinking i should swap around some parts, put my processor better psu and gpu in this rebuild for the benefit of the faster front side bus. its not much of a hassle because i like to build pcs so its probably only gonna take a half hour but my real question is about the front side bus.
does having a much faster front side bus give a noticeable performance increase? because im convinced that my mobo with 1000mhz fsb is probably creating a bottle neck with the cpu.
some logical advice is helpful thanks
