    dvd problem

    is it a loose cable problem or mobo problem?

    It could be. Try the MS Fixit.

    Your CD or DVD drive cannot read or write media

    If that doesnt help, try the solutions on this page.

    Sorry, I didn't make it clear, the last post in that thread(No:9).

    You are trying a wrong BIOS,they are not for W7.
