    No devices in device manager.

    Hey there,

When I open my device manager it doesn't show any devices. I've searched several websites but can't seem to find a solution for windows 7 Ultimate that works. Someone have a idea on how to solve this problem?

    Kind regards,

That's not the solution. There are no devices listed in the devicemanager at all. No diskdrives, no nothing so I can't select a device at all.

Repair install has its own problems, so I don't know if it would work (all tough if a repair install does not work I don't know of any other solution then a full clean install, which I would try to avoid ). The installer hangs on compatibility check. I've run it for about 8 hours but still the compatibility check is not finished. Does somebody have an idea on how to fix this?

    Kind regards,
