Cannot install Belkin USB Wifi drivers on Windows

    thinking about it, you're right.

    sorry, i don't have any more ideas.

    i fear there is something wrong with your windows install if you can't get other hardware to work either.

    windows 7 really isn't this bad!

    as it's a fresh install, i would reformat and start again if it was my machine, and install all drivers first, before installing AV software or anything else. just make sure you have the drivers downloaded and saved in a safe location before formatting.

    once it all works, i'm sure you will grow to love your new os.

    Hi all, thanks for getting back to me. Here's an update.<br><br><ul><li>Micky - I tried to install under compatability mode, no luck. I also tried turning off the windows firewall and Kaspersky.     oops - just checked and belkin don't maintain their own user forum, which is a bit cheap. i kinda assumed every big-name company would have one

    anyway, here's a general wifi forum - you may find a bit more help there

    have you tried it with another computer?

    just speculating, but it could be something wrong with your installation...

    I would but unfortunately i don't have access to another computer with windows 7. The disc i installed from does look slightly scratched, but surely if this were to effect the installation then it would not install at all?
