    Wireless Keyboard

I want to replace the wireless keyboard that I have (MS 1045), and all that I have found are similar MS products or the Logitech S520 Cordless Desktop Keyboard/Mouse Combo. I would prefer to avoid the MS keyboards, but one of the reviews that I read about the Logitech said that it started losing connectivity at 1 foot from the base.

Since this is to be used on my secondary rig in the bedroom, I definitely want something reliable up to ~ 10 feet distant. Is there such a critter around?

    Hi,

Maybe something from Enermax: ENERMAX - Product

I don't know what your budget is but I use the Enermax Aurora Micro Wireless,
I can use it over great distance and has a trackball/mouse function and you can
use it as a Media Center remote but it's quite expensive.

The fact that you mentioned price makes it appear that this is expensive, and the fact that they didn't state a price, seems to support that. When I clicked the "where to buy" button, it gave a phone number and email only for themselves, so I guess it is not being distributed. I'm pretty reluctant to contact someone with blinders on. How much are they?

Part of my problem is that what I have is a desktop set, which model number does not correspond with either the keyboard or the mouse, but I think that it was a 4000 or 6000...not sure. In any case, it stinks. The original went bad almost immediately, and they sent me a replacement that was supposed to be an improvement, but the only real difference was it's design. Therefore, I don't have much confidence in MS in this arena.

They distribute them, I bought it at an e-tailer here in the Netherlands.
Just have a look on Google with the model name.

I bought it here in the Netherlands so your price will be different.

They also have another wireless keyboard: Acrylux wireless wich will be cheaper.
They have great build quality and nice keystroke.
