You can plug just about any fan of your choosing into it, I believe I have my Corsair memory cooler plugged into mine. Fabe

The H50 water cooler asks that you not plug it's fan into the cpu fan header. But with out a fan plugged into it when I use the software to check the CPU tempts the software goes freekin nuts with out detecting any rpms on the CPU ! Any thoughts, like plug any fan into it?
As far as I remember you put the fan in to the CPU header and the pump cable in to any other spare fan header.

After all, the fan they give you with the H50 unit is a four pin CPU fan.

And the tweaking continues. See new dual bay SSD dock, new dueling Lite on DVD drives. Inside I've moved the spot fan and reorganized all cabling. Need to get a 12v extension cable and then some molex extensions and I will go for as much behind the mobo as possible. If possible a Crucial SSD via Sata III and then she's done for quite some time other than possibly dual monitors ! Please someone stop me !
