    i7 960 vs 930

Is there any noticeable difference between the two when it comes to gaming and overclocking? I mean I don't want to spend 400$ more for a 960 if it doesn't matter. Any opinions?

With your current cpu, and the two cpu's you've listed, as well as your resolution of 1920x1080, game performance is a function of the graphics card(s). This is why we've all been saying you should just keep your i7 950...

Notice: there's almost no difference at all between an i5 750 @ 2.67GHz, and the i7 975 @ 3.3GHz. Your current cpu falls somewhere in between, which is to say that it's more than strong enough for any game you throw at it.

Yes. The reason I need a new processor is because I'm gonna sell my old computer :)
And I'm sure they would like it to come with a processor :P
Thanks for the answer, then I will go for the 930 :)

Ah yes...this would have been nice to know during the conversations we have been having on this subject. That changes the playing field pretty significantly.
