Also, the other stick won't work either because it only supports 1gig per slot.

that is my stupidity for you....I could've swore this was the one made by intel that's why I picked it up. I did put 2X1gb sticks of pc-6400 in it and it still wouldn't boot. Or with one of the kingston sticks and one pc-6400 stick.

2GB? I saw 4gb max either both of us are tired, or we're getting 2 different mobos here..

Windows 7 intel makes one that is awesome and acer makes one that is uber cheap? The boards chipset is intel? What a terrible motherboard to support a core 2 duo and not over 2gb of memory.
