Where can I find my fingerprint scanner software?

Under device manager it says I have a "biometric device" called "TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensor (WBF Advanced Mode).

However, I can't find the software to activate it

any ideas?

Don't I already have the drivers though, if device manager is reporting the "TouchStrip Fingerprint Sensor (WBF Advanced Mode)?

Try re-installing and see if it resolves your problem...

Hello techies, I had the same problem with acer finger print sensor when i installed 7 a week ago. The pre installed drivers did not work, so i downloaded a 100 MB file from acer website. Unfortunately, it still didn't work. Although, it works perfectly on my XP.

Have you tried installing the software in XP compatibility mode?

Compatibility mode allows a older program written for an earlier versions of Windows to possibly run in Windows 7. You can also use Compatibility mode to always have a program to Run as an administrator.
